  • Google Chrome (latest 2 versions) — Recommended

  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based, latest 2 versions)

  • Mozilla Firefox (latest 2 versions)

  • Safari 15+ (macOS only)

Platform Requirements

  • Microsoft 365 Education (online — Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Google Workspace for Education (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

  • Chromebooks, Windows PCs, Macs, and iPads supported

  • Minimum screen resolution: 1024 × 768

Network & Connectivity

  • Stable internet connection required (minimum 5 Mbps recommended)

  • WebSocket support for real-time grading feedback

  • Allowlist: .compugrade.com, .bepublishing.com

  • HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) for all data transmission

Security & Compliance

  • FERPA compliant

  • COPPA compliant

  • SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure

  • Data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)

  • Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) available upon request

  • No student data sold or shared with third parties

Deployment Options

  • Microsoft 365 Admin Center: Deploy the Office add-in organization-wide

  • Single teacher self-install via the add-in marketplace
